LOCATION: Austria (1010 Vienna) | CONSTRUCTION TIME: 11 months | GROSS FLOOR AREA: 1,345 m²

Our assignment

As part of the shop and office renovation, all surfaces and floors had to be renewed and existing ceilings had to be upgraded in terms of statics and fire protection, taking into account the requirements of the monument protection authority, as parts of the building (including the facade, stucco, and atrium roof) have been under protection since 2016. The refresh also included the renewal of the furniture in the sales area (in close coordination with the high-end brands presented (Chanel, Hugo Boss, Yves Saint Laurent, Jo Malone, etc.)).

Special challenges

The renovation had to be carried out in several phases in order to keep disruption to the respective areas as short as possible. In the first phase of the renovation, the first floor of the sales area and the basement were refurbished, while sales continued on the ground floor. Once this phase was complete, the entire retail space was closed so that work could be carried out on the ground floor. The project was completed with the renovation and complete refurnishing of the office space on the third floor.
